Black.Male.Feminist?
by Fran Sussner RodgersMarch 21, 2011
This blog is an interesting reflection on being a feminist written by a man who grew up poor and black. In families where men are absent, women do everything and display their resilience and strength every day. They don’t call themselves feminists but their daily activities send the message that women (rightly or wrongly) are actually more competent than men. This blogger understands that his race, gender and family circumstances all combine to make him what he is and among many other things, he is a feminist.
