This is a must read.  Much of it rings true to me, but the “boys will be boys” thinking about sexually aggressive behavior – that men and women are different sexual beings, and that for men, the impulse to degrade and be aggressive toward women can’t be removed from the male sexual fantasies and acts – is a problematic notion to say the least.  Do you believe that the hard-core porn dominating the internet is a window into what most men want? And if that’s the case, what do (straight) women do with that knowledge?
