This is a really interesting discussion and video with Tom Matlock of The Good Men Project on men and guns.  I’m a little baffled by it.  Maybe women who hold guns also feel powerful and empowered and it is that feeling that is so seductive.

 I do appreciate Matlock’s honesty as he seems surprised at himself for liking the feeling of holding a gun which he associates it with masculinity. As roles change and men and women are more equal, will men feel more or less in need of this reinforcement of masculinity?  Let’s hope it is less at least as it pertains to guns.
