This is an interesting take on the impact of porn on relationships, from a relationship expert.

When it comes to porn, his general rule is simple: less is usually better. Porn is just a fact of life, he argues, but when women start feeling like they have to compete with porn stars to excite their partners – well, that’s not typically the route to a mutually-fulfilling sexual relationship.  Says Matteson:

In order to have a romantic relationship and a satisfying sex life, men should think of porn like cartoons. There’s nothing wrong with watching cartoons, as long as you remember that real coyotes don’t try to kill roadrunners with anvils and blowtorches, and that very, very, very few real women greet the pizza boy at the door wearing nothing but a towel and a pouty expression.
